The guy has great size, moves well, and has some degree of skills. The Lakers gave up in favor on Andrew Bynum; Memphis, as bad as they are, didn't want him at all; and in Detroit he was on the bench before you could blink an eye.

Clubs keep signing him but then find no value in his performance.

As a Laker fan, I've seen Kwame play in person and on TV too many times. He has small hands (I know he is 6-11 and 270, but God works in mysterious ways). He has bad hands. He can't catch a pass for the life of him. He has bad feet. He doesn't have a post move. He can't play defense. Just watch him try and defend against a pick and roll. He has no heart, and he has no passion. That about covers it.

The NBA is a weird place when it comes to big men. Anybody remember Jon Koncak? I can give more examples if you want. Hell, you and I would be in the NBA if we were 6-11 270.

out for the coaches and Michael Jordan. Tyson Chandler was also
in town for his work out so they had them play one on one. Kwame just destroyed him; he was much stronger and just as quick. Chandler had no offensive game.

Jordan lived in a condo complex that housed the Sports Club LA where I played basketball and lifted weights. Jordan would also work out there with Tim. After the one on one match, I happened to be in the gym that night when Jordan was talking to a bunch of the guys about draft prospects. I remember him saying that Kwame was on a different level than Chandler.

True, bad hands are poison for a big man. But I still don't see how the greatest player in NBA history could have been so wrong.

Remember when Michael Jordan was with the Wizards and drafted Kwame Brown #1 overall? How it turned out to be one of the the worst draft choices ever? Well, to quote Gomer Pyle, surprise surprise! Brown just signed a 1-year contract with Charlotte, Jordans current team. Maybe Larry Brown can figure out how to make a useful player out of him. The upside for Kwame, he's got nowhere to go but up.

I believe lack of work ethic is a likely culprit-1rob

Oh Jordans' success rate with draft choices is pretty much like his team management rate..not good. We were not sad when he got fired here in DC.
Abe Pullen, one of sports' true gentlemen and decades long owner of the Wiards/Bulletts had had enough.
Maybe he has learned from experience. I hope so for the new Charlotte teams' sake.
As for Browns' disappointing career, I think the views here about mental attitude sum up the reasons for his failures very well.
