Did you hear about the time Ken Griffey Jr. missed a pnch-hit opportunity because he was alseep in the clubhouse? Evidently, he had gone in after a jacket, one thing led to another, and he zonked out in a chair. He has one of the prettiest swings in baseball, but is hitting only .208 with 5 RBI's. It may be time for him to look at hanging up his spikes. He's had a great career, has never been linked to steroids, and is a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer. One of my favorite players of the current generation.

Yup it's time for Jr. to say goodbye.  It could turn into a public relations nightmare if not done properly.  He is way past it now.  It sad watching him at the plate compared to what he use to be.
