Cool, collected, and humble. Who knew?

I specifically didn't watch the induction ceremony because I had no desire to hear him talk about how great he was!
Glad that he's finally learned to be humble.

I saw a re broadcast on ESPN, it was amazing. And no third person "stuff"

I saw the same re-broadcast and I didn't see any "humility." By the way, I attended the game when he broke Lou Brock's stolen base record. They stopped the game (of course), so I took that opportunity to go to the bathroom. I missed his infamous "I am the greatest of all time" speech, but I saw it on the 6 o'clock news.

I too was expecting the same me-first crap from Rickey.
What I heard was a sincere, humble and grateful speech straight from the heart of a man who finally gets it. It was a fantastic moment for him and he was great. Give him his props for this day.
