It was so much better than the fire work show in Atlanta!  Tony Stewart wrecks Kyle Busch on the last lap and wins!  Wished I could have been there.  Maybe next 4th holiday......Madison

Kyle Busch wrecked himself on Tony Stewart's front bumper.  It's always a great finish when Kyle's car leaves the track on a hook.  Las Vegas is so proud of it's pisspot son.  At least his brother has finally matured enough to keep his mouth shut.

and let Kyle have it.  Tony shouldnt feel bad at all.  Tony faked him out and Kyle couldn't block him.

Kyle can give his crew pieces of his wrecked car as a memento of yet another one of his screw-ups!!

I take it you didn't invite him to your partee last night, eh?  LMAO!

LOL, no he wasn't on the list, but we do know some of the same people.

I used to have a piece of another driver's hood as a souvenir, but at least he didn't TRY to wreck every race.  Don't get me wrong, Kyle is a phenomenal talent.  I'll never forget the conversation that I had with someone associated with his brother's (pre-Nascar) team about how talented Kurt was.  His response was something along the lines of "you should see his little brother.  He's gonna be in the big leagues some day, and people will notice him."  I think Kyle was about 15 at the time.

It's just that he's such a shit head.

Bush took the lead on a gutsy pass on the second to last lap, then tried to block in the final lap.  You could see he was angled wrong as the last lap progressed, and Tony had two choices: Push ahead, and maybe hit KB, or hold back, and finish second.  He took option one, hit KB, and spun him into the wall, and, as a result, won.  Can't say I'm disappointed...

I am sure there will be payback in the future, but that's racing!

What race did you watch CD????

It was Kyle who made the choices to block the
faster car (Stewart) TWICE. Stewart had position on him the second time so Kyle CAUSED the wreck.

You can't fault Stewart for having the faster car and trying to pass. THAT is racing.

What would have happened if Kyle had just held his line and raced Stewart fair and square to the finish line?? Kyle would have finished either first or second. However, because of Kyle's immaturity, we will never know.

Did TS have the faster car?  Maybe.  But why did KB pass him on the second to last lap?  If he didn't have have the faster car, maybe he has superior driving skills?  Or did he just get lucky, have more balls, or caught TS being complacent?  Who's to say?

I was rooting for TS.  KB was blocking in the last lap, ans was angled just slightly off kilter.  Thus, he get's hit, smashes into the wall, and TS wins.  I agree completely that TS did what he had to in the final seconds, and KB's inexperience led to his downfall.  If he races TS flat out down the home stretch, he probably wins...but we'll never know...

All I can say is that I wish I was in Daytona that night to watch in person...
