Four days after Reggie McKenzie was hired as General Manager, Jackson is gone. Oakland started out  7-4, but lost 4 out of the last 5 to miss the playoffs. They also turned in one of the worst defensive performances in franchise history. The fact that Darren McFadden was hurt for much of the season didn't help matters either.
