Just saw where Mike Brown has been fired as the head coach of the Fakers. I guess an 0-8 pre-season and a 1-4 start wasn't good enough. Phil Jackson's name is being bandied about, as well as Stan Van Gundy! Not sure if the Van Gundy rumor is serious, surely hope not with Dwight Howard there. That would be an interesting situation, Van Gundy, Howard, and Bryant.

Mike is a good coach. He was Steve's for most of his career. I am sure Steve had an influence on them choosing Mike.
