LA Lakers beat the Denver Thug-gets. The were efficient and they could win Game 6!

Guess Denver isn't the real thugs huh.  Don't be mad that they are giving the fake no show, a run for their money.

Because the Nuggets are not thugs.

Unless you want to call the Lakers a bunch of rapists.

It seems to me the refs have had some issues making the calls.

It's hard to watch the Lakers and their fans whine about Dante Jones. Ever hear of Shaq? Talk about a player who played like a thug.

But fail to recognize their faults.  Like how Kobe bashed in Battier's face and split his eye open in Game 1.  Or how Bynum is a garbage player but is getting paid how much?  Or how bad they played and got beat by 19 points.  Try pointing out faults in your team and stop acting as if they are perfect before you bash another team lol.  

Laker's are just as ghetto and thugish as every team out there if not more.  We have Kobe who is always crying about something whether it's his finger or his illness.  He's always bitching about plays, which is why he has his 5 techs in this playoff series.  And why?  Oh cause it's all about Kobe right??  We have Bynum who came back with all the hype and got all of 3 boards and 2 fouls in 15 minutes of play in round 1.  

But Nuggets are thugs because they play defense??  PUHLEASE!!!  Stop making excuses for the fakers unless they are paying you to.

Old news, new team.

For the Laker's though.  But I've never called them thugs or complained about how they play against another team.  I don't think because the Magic is playing mad defense against the Cavs that they are thugs, even though they have fouled the Cavs a ton.  

So saying a team is thugish because they actually play to win isn't relevant unless you pick apart your team as well.

Wasn't trying to argue in that comment.  Just making a comment about how the Laker fans always make excuses for them and cry when another team is better than them.  I hate that the Cavs aren't winning but there's no excuse.  They can't clinch the plays and get the shots to hit right.  Which just proves that the Magic is better than them and they deserve to go.

I assumed you were a fan.  And no, I don't know every fan.  But what I know of many fans makes me dislike the lakers.  It's simple as that.  But I think calling a team thugs because they actually play defense and don't win games with JUST offense is a bit over board and cliche.

Rina didn't say "Go Lakers".  She's a pretty smart cookie...which I admit grudgingly, as it seems that she is LIKELY a *shiver* Laker fan.  Neither of these teams are choirboys, and names are just names.  Who cares.

If you want to watch the master of flopping, watch videos of Vlade Divac. He was the master of flopping. Actually, I don't see many American players flop, It mostly an international thing, especially with the Europeans.

People either love or hate Kobe. Those that hate him took Shaq's side back in the 2004 break-up of the Lakers, which was a smart decision by Jerry Buss. Also, folks still remember Colorado. Personally, Kobe is one of the toughest players in the NBA. He has said many times, he prefers the 1980s style of basketball. There were no Flagrant 1 or 2 fouls back then. Look at what he said after he was tripped by Jones in game 4, or the hard foul by Carmelo in game 5. He didn't complain. He said he loved that type of basketball.

Re Tyler Hansborough....he will be a flop in the NBA. At best, he might be as good as a Luke Walton. He is not quick enough or tough enough to play in the NBA.

That's what I'd like to see, but it's hard for any team to go into the other's court and take 2 away. I can imagine it happening in game 7 at LA.
