The only Olympic coverage I've seen was a few minutes on a screen in a bar while having dinner and even then I lost interest very quickly and returned to my conversation with the people I was there with. With what South Korea is supposedly losing (in the billions), and NBC's lack of ratings and therefore revenue from them, I can't imagine why any country/city would want to host them in the future (other than political corruption and politicians getting kick backs).
Based on the low ratings I bet I am not the only one who has barely glanced at them this year.
I will admit to watching one curling match that I caught on CNBC after the markets closed and they switched to Olympic coverage, but it was entertaining enough for me to leave the channel where it was, but other than that, I haven't watched even a single event, nor do I really plan to. I am finding the whole thing a great big yawn fest.
How say the rest of you? Are any of you glued to your TV's, smart phones, tablets, computers?

Just what the fuck is wrong with our media when they make a conscious effort to glamorize this brutal woman, and make her the lead story of the Olympics?
