Excellent game by Lee.

I sure hope Sabathia pitches two more games!

Great game Phillies, 6-1, complete game by Lee.  Would have been a 6-0 shutout but for a throwing error by Rollins.  But all in all, great job!!

The last six teams that won game 1 went on to win the Series. By the way, in the "Who's Laughing Now?" segment. Two years ago, Lee was sent down to the minors by Cleveland, was left off of their 2007 post-season roster. Unless they have a rainout, I really don't think they should bring him back for game 4. J.A. Happ could go, then Lee could come back in game 5. Not sure what Lee's track record is for pitching on 3 days rest. Now is not a good time to find out.

While no one would be happier to see them lose than I would (ESPECIALLY to Pedro!), they have to much offensive firepower to stay dormant.

I hope the Phillies keep it up, but I wouldn't bet on it.  It was fucking beautiful for a night, though!

He just had one bad game. While I also hope he totally collapses in the series,that is unlikely.

Enough of the formalities; my wheel-barrow just became 1/4 filled. There will be benefits to the 'friends' I've yet to meet that can't be fathomed.

both on Utley homers. The bullpen blew up in the last two innings amd gave up the other runs. You're right; he can't be buried just yet.
