Can anyone stop the Lakers?

In the West, San Antonio is hurt and slumping, the Mavericks got punked the other night and I don't think OKC is ready to contend.

In the East, the Celtics got smaller by trading Perkins and Chicago, Miami and Orlando can not match up with the Laker bigs. Add in the best closer in the game.......

Don't get me wrong, any one of these teams could upset the Lakers but I think it would definitely be an upset in a 7 game series.

The race does not always go to the swiftest....but that is the way to bet.

...for the Anaheim Royals, or whatever the Sacto. Kings are going to be called when they move there?

That will be the problem for most teams. Beat them once....sure. Beat them 4 games (or 3 in the 1st round)....really difficult.

As for the "Royals"? I live 15 minutes from the Honda Center and Angel Stadium. I will always make the trek to LA to see teams I have rooted for for more decades than I care to admit.
