who are both Michigan students.  More medals for Michigan students, who have earned a shitload of them through the years.  Hell, Michael Phelps alone has won 14 of them!

I gotta say, I thought giving the Canadians 110 on thier last performance was way the hell over the top. They did a great job, their performance was terrific, but Davis and White were absolutely spectacular. I think they both deserved to go 1-2, but I think the judges got the order wrong. Furthermore, the Russians had no business being anywhere near the podium. Tannith and Belbin skated rings around them. Ah well, at least the judging wasn't nearly as outrageous as in previous Olympics.

giving the Russians third - Belbin and Agosto should have gotten the bronze.  Can't really complain about the Canadians getting the gold, although I too was surprised that they received the 110 on their free skate.  But like you said, compared to some judging in previous Olympics, this one went very smoothly!
