I was at Maple Grove two years ago for my first return to the drags after a lengthy hiatus. Lots of fun indeed....but man oh man, the decibel levels have increased significantly over the years!
But I still have fun at the ovals.....Bristol at night is frickin' awesome!!
3rd in a row. Sweeps the western swing. A little crazy weather ..Friday was 78 until 1:30pm and then the marine layer came in an pow..it's 57! Saturday perfect....and today, Sunday it got up to 90. But the track was great.
LOTS of attendance. Good to see people out spending money.
NHRA is the biggest bang for the buck. Took a friend who had never been to professional drag race....a 39 year NASCAR fan.....he was blown away by the fuel cars and is now asking me "where's the next race!"
