I was watching the game last night
I never watch games live
too much pressure for me
so many times my friends know the outcome but they no better than to call me up. Wow, the game started weird. Curry on the floor with an ankle injury, no shots falling for Duke, State just tearing up the court, hot as hell.
and I could not believe 16 point lead at the half and  the 20 pt lead State had over Duke further into the second half..... I was thinking how will I be able to sleep after this game!!?!!
I knew that the second half was going to be different from the first. Coach k and his staff always seem to make the right changes and the players come back motivated and ready to take over the court.
But a 20 point lead...that's a tough one. Each possession in the second half gave me hope. Duke's constant driving in the paint and the fouls State's starters racked up gave me hope. The fact that shots for Duke fell in, gave me hope. When Mason made 2 free throws I had hope. Watching the constant defensive pressure Duke gave State, gave me hope. As the game was in it's last 2 minutes my hope was so frickin high my volume on my tv was as high as it could get. And it was past midnight!!
If you are a Duke fan you loved this game. You love how our team NEVER quits.
