Anybody watch Notre Dame's latest come-apart? They had a 24-7 lead after 3 quarters, then I guess the defense thought it was like hockey, where you go home after 3 periods if you have a lead. Of course, Denard Robinson had a lot to do with it, with 338 yards passing on only 11 completions. Great start not-so-Fighting Irish! Make us all proud and have 10 more games like that.

Of course, I'm a Michigan fan, so for me it was an instant classic and one of the most memorable games ever.  I had friends at the game and they said it was unbelievable- and they've all been to lots of other games with 110,000 fans.  But this one had 114,800 and playing the first night game made it more dramatic.

That said, Michigan has some serious problems on both sides of the ball, and they were very apparent in the first three quarters of play.  It could have easily turned into a ND blowout.  But they finally let Denard be Denard in the second half and you saw the results.

The coaches may want an NFL-type offense for Michigan, but until the recruit NFL type players, they're going to be forcing a square peg in a round hole with predictable results.

Even though I'm not a Michigan State fan, I'm hoping they put the hurt to ND next Saturday for their third loss.  Sorry- I'm just not a fan of gay leprechauns or Touchdown Jesus.

Your beloved Terrapins  have 32 uniform combos this year including a helmet that has a terrapin shell motif-can't wait to see that one-lol-but almost all of them look great-and I'll be pulling for the Terps when they go after the Golden Domers later this season-have had no use for them since they 'tied one for the Gipper' back in 66 (vs. Bubba  Smith's Spartans) and were awarded the National Championship aided by a lap dog press-later, 1rob....heading for Vegas for a week on Wed....OUT
