Good luck in your post baseball retirement Kenneth Jr. I remember when your Dad broke in with the Reds.
Jr. always seemed like one of the good guys and might have had that all time HR record if not for the nagging injuries.

Yes, Indeed one of the good guys, wishing him the best.

Just heard that his retirement is 75 years to the day that Babe Ruth retired.

Thank You

I happen to be in Seattle on business, turned on the news in my hotel room, it's the lead story on all the local channels!

It was time for Jr. to go, he was a great player and I was lucky enough to see him play in person in 97.

going?!!!   And here I am the expert in auto racing and I didn't know!!!

Oh....Griffey. Baseball.  Got it.

But the NASCAR Jr. is sure to be dumped by Hendricks after this year.  You heard it here first.  If you care.

Do you really think so?  I know that his performance has sucked donkey dick, but isn't his popularity worth enough in sponsor money to keep him in place for a while longer?

Jr. is for sure very, very popular with the fans.  He actually sells more NASCAR branded stuff than any other driver.  It's also recognized that his father still drives some of that recognition that Jr. sort of "rides along" with also.

Hendricks doesn't like to field a losing team and I know for a fact he warned both Johnson and Gordon to "know it the fuck off" with the bumping and more that has been going on between them.   Gordon owns 51% of Johnson's car but Rick has the ability to buy it out ...he's "the man" in the end.

And there are some proven winning drivers without rides next year and that's what Hendrick's does....win.

Jr is likely to end up with Childress - where his iconic father raced.

Nothing is a done deal yet but it wouldn't surprise anyone to see this happen.

I'm really tied into the NHRA more but I have a few friends who are crew in NASCAR and there's a lot of underground talk about this.

Jr could make this go away by winning a couple of races and getting into The Chase.

I guess we'll see...

Had a lot of homeruns, bonds should be off list of homeruns. Griffey i feel is only superstar who is clean, still had 630 homeruns, leaving Seattle destroyed his career
