A T.W. is tied for the lead, only it isn't Tiger Woods. He missed the cut at a major for only the second time in his pro career. It's 59-year old Tom Watson!!! Who woulda thunk it?!?!?!?!?

Tiger Woods missing the cut, and 59 year old Tom Watson leading after 2 rounds. Mark Calcavecchia is only ONE shot back at age 49 !  Amazing!

If Watson can somehow win this, he would tie Harry Vardon with SIX British Open wins.  Wouldn't that be something?

Four rounds off golf is a bit much for a 65 year old man...but you never know.

... mentally than physically.  He's doing great considering he had a hip replacement 9 months ago.

He is the best links player ever. If he loses, it will be because of his putting. And to be more specific, the 4 and 5 footers. That has been his albatross the past 15 years.

I don't usually ditch church on Sunday morning but I've gottta watch to see if he can pull it off. I agree with St Croix though, if his putter holds up, he's got a great shot because nobody plays links golf like Watson!

It would be a very good year indeed for us Ol-Farts!!  

Oh, and I did something today that Tiger didn't.....  played golf!  LOL
