As for the knuckleball I’ve seen a few guys who are good at it. Perhaps you remember Hoyt Wilhelm. He started his career with the New York Giants and ended with the Brooklyn Dodgers of Los Angeles. As I’m sure you know most catchers hate having to catch a knuckleballer and have oversized mitts, but it is difficult.
