Randy Edsall of Connecticutt has been named the head coach at Maryland. He was a winner at UConn and, as far as we know, ran a clean program. He's a much better choice than Mike Leach.

with that. It was bad enough the way they fired Ralph but to hire Leach would have been a travesty. I understand that they lost an assistant who took several coaches with him but is that the fault of the head coach of the AD?

Leach would have filled the seats and brought national recognition to the school.  This Edsall guy is boring.  zzzzZZZZZ.  A Tom Coughlin clone.
