In the clubhouse K-I-S-S-I-N-G.
First comes shitty pitching
then comes no hitting
then comes Bobby pushing a sub .500 season.

A new GM and New field mgr.

Hmmmm will there be a power struggle.........I hope so.

I do not know much about Ben but will Mr. ego  er uh  I mean Bobby try to
tell Ben What to do, how to do it and when ...I hope so.

ESPN.com is reporting the the Sox will officially announce Bobby Valentine as their next manager is a press conference Thursday. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Valentine should fit right in with the Red Sox soap opera as he is a bit of a drama queen himself.

No, not for the Red Sox. Valentine's personality will clash with the other personalities in the clubhouse. Francona was a perfect fit because he's a low-key type of guy who was content to stay in the background and tend to the mechanics of managing the team. Valentine will wind up hogging the spotlight and I don't think that will fit very well in Boston.

While he will be introduced as manager, I anticipate that it really should be titled as interim manager as I think he will be here two years tops.

He is holding the place until a Farrell or Maddon is available.
