Hi everyone,

Sometimes I hear from hobbyists and providers about a slowdown during the holidays.

My question for both is:

Providers, do you usually see a slowdown in appointments and or phone calls and/or emails during the holidays? If so, why do you think it is?

Hobbyists, Do you visit less often during the holidays. And if so, why?

1) Holiday travel AWAY
2) Increased time obligations with family, etc
3) "Golf Season" (aka "Alibi") has pretty much ended

This will be my 3rd holiday season in this community. The first was a little slower than normal, but steady. Then the drama of last December really slowed things down. So far, this season is rolling along wonderfully! But we shall see as it nears Decembember 25th.

I've had great success with my November Special: http://theeroticreview.com/msgBoard/viewmsg.asp?MessageID=7289&boardID=13&page=1
I've also got a wonderful December Special coming with a similar twist.

By the way, I'll be home for the holidays and ready to play! (except Thanks Giving Day & Christmas Day)

I've been warned that there is a seasonal slow down, and I've been told that things pick up as gentlemen seek some time away from the family.  Last year things slowed down a bit... though how much of that was fear over local events?  I still managed to get all of my bills taken care of.

I will be available during the holidays with specials as well (though only early or late on Thanksgiving, and not at all on Christmas Day.)  Perhaps we could have a post-holiday wrap-up poll?  LOL!

This is an interesting question, thank you for posting it!  I look forward to seeing the responses.

xoxo,
Sola

After turkey day, need to cut down several Christmas trees for family members, decorate the trees and house, mail a zillion cards, gift shopping, entertaining out of town visiting family members, and making my special Christmas lasagna to give as gifts (better than fruit cake).  Then have to plan and make some financial moves (example charity contribution and depositing funds to 401 and 403 plans) for end of the year tax planning that sometime temporary exhaust available funds for the hobby. By January 1  I am ready for some R and R

I think that there is a slow down around the holiday seasons because of family obligations, and in some instances for financial reasons. I have always done well around the holidays because I was pretty much always available, but for this year I will not be available around Thanksgiving. I will be out of town from 11/24 to 11/29, and will be back to my normal schedule on Tues 11/30. I have met alot of wonderful people since I have been here, and Im very thankful for each and everyone of you. Wishing you all the best and may your holidays be filled with many joys and blessings. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! and remember to always play SAFE.

Kisses to all,

Krista

I notice that they increase. For me the day before Thanksgiving and Xmas is very busy. I worked on Xmas for three years straight and was very happy with the results. Actually I love forward to those holidays. :)
