He was the inspiration for many past and present music artists and guitar enthusiasts and will continue to do so for some time. He overcame adversity at a young age and preservered thru his personal tragedy to become one of the legends of music. Master of a style of music called gypsy jazz.
I still love his music and can never seem to get enough, some of my personal favs are Limehouse Blues and Beyond the Sea.(La Mer)
Sadly he died this month in 1953.
