Welcome to our beautiful state! I've lived in the greater Seattle area all my life, so the rain doesn't bother me like it does others.  But we have had some pretty cold winters at times, but nothing like Minneapolis.  Thank goodness it doesn't snow much here (knocking wood).  The weather predictions for this fall/winter is for mild weather with average precipitation.  January and February tend to be colder than November and December.  I can remember only one white Christmas in several years.  But of course now that I said that, the weather will make a liar out of me.
