Since she brought it up, I just want to say that Redbooks's star ratings seem to be only mentioned by the providers in their advertising and have little value to us actual RB members. In fact, as a "Normal" member (i.e. one who gets a membership by submitting reviews) I can't even see the star ratings and have no idea how they are determined. From those that can see them, the word seems to be that they don't mean much at all and no one is really sure how they come about. They certainly DON'T indicate particular activities (anal, DFK, etc.) or that the provider gives a GFE.
From looking at the reviews of providers that claim to have 4 stars, the only thing you can say is that their average performance rating is over 5 (out of 10).
RB states that it is based on the rankings as in #'s and also the reviewer and how often he has reviewed.. ie.. if it is a first time reviewer, his review has alot less weight than a long time reviewer, so say a girl has 6 reviews by men that gave her 8 and 9 and they were all by guys that have alot of reviews well she would be a 5 star,
where as a girl with say 10 reviews but most are by first time reviewers, and she got all 10 would be like a 3 star because her reviewers have not established themselves

Ratings on RB are very important to VIP members. Stars are giving based on reviews and services offered. 5 star ratings are women that perform, DFK, GREEK, and that most of their reviews are positive. I'm a 4 star, out of 9 reviews, I only have one bad one and I do not perform DFK or GREEK.
Per the moderator, I was told that in order to get 5 stars you must provide GFE. Now I'm not saying everyone has to provide greek. Hell how would we know any ways? That is just how it was explained to me. Now your interpertation of GFE maybe different from others. There is no right or wrong to this it's a matter of opinion.
the moderator, at RB has no control over the the #'s guys give you, and uys per RED himself, the way they determine the rankings is based on the #'s that give you, and HOW many times they have reviewed, it has nothing to do with the services you provide its all a #'s game with them
And that's good enough for me. RB obviously has a system for establishing ratings which has some merit to me. So like the ladies have said. It does sound good.
Of course, this is TER and not RB and so I'm looking at the TER reviews a lot more than what RB has to say.
I don't mind you talking about RB, and I visit them from time to time too. You gotta use all the marketing assets you got in my opinion.
