As a member of the sex work activism community, I absolutely couldn't be happier. Thank you to Carol Leigh, Kristen DiAngelo, Rachel, Rachel West of USPROS, the ACLU, SWOP, and everyone else involved in this victory.

I don't know why anyone is thanking SWOP, as they did not show up for the hearing or the press conference. It was Maxine from esplerp that did most of the work as we started planning this challenge last summer.
Brilliantly written..... I can't help pointing out, that once again it is esplerp.org challenging bad laws. Last week CA sex workers gained access to victims compensation, because we refuse to be discriminated against. Esplerp was also the official opposition for Prop 35 in Ca in 2012, and they worked with the ACLU in getting a injunction therefore stopping another bad law. They also got Prop k on the ballots a few years back and almost won to with 40 something percent of the vote. s.
Advocacy group hopes to rewrite Alaska's sex trafficking laws, make sex workers safer

BAYSWAN; Elisa Eoceguera; Erotic Service Providers Union; F*WORD; In Defense of Prostitute Women's Safety Project; Kate Horton; Legal Action forWomen; Queer Strike; Sex Workers Outreach Project; Sin Barras; US PROStitutes Collective.
