There is folsom street fair (http://www.folsomstreetfair.com/) going on in downtown. You can take BART from the airport which will take about 25 mins to downtown. I think it is $7 one way. Not sure about the cost though. That with in itself would be pretty interesting. If that is done you can also get off BART at Embarcadaro and walk to Fisherman's wharf. You will have a good view of golden gate bridge and bay bridge, and alcatraz island. If you like to walk you can also walk to lombard street (famous crooked street) or go to china town. There is a bar at the edge of chinatown and columbus street which has live music during the day and turns into a strip club after 7 pm. They normally have good rock music playing. Chinatown is a good place for food. SOMA has multitude of restaurants as well. If you use apps like LYFT or UBER you can get anywhere for $6-7 mostly. Hope you enjoy your stay in the sin city!
