does there seem to be no interaction or discussions here? I see alot of ads but not many threads posted by hobbiest or providers on topics of interest....someone in Az told me everyone uses ssredbook....But I heard that was not a safe place to advertise or shop. The only other board I have posted on is in LA and they seem like a active board with lots of opinons and yes some drama buy it is entertaining to read our PHX. boards are a very good group and you feel you really get to know everyone. This is not a slam of your boards just curious as to why no one posts here...thanks again....Oh I have recieved many PM's regarding my ad which were very helpful thanks guys

Ms. Victoria understand a lot of Hobbyist read TER boards use them to meet Providers. They just don't have nothing to say, and besides as long as you get clients when you visit what differance does it make

The San Franciscans are kind of funny. The people here will invite you to the front door, but won't invite you to their backyard. Were kind of cautious when revealing ourselves. By the way, Union Square after Thanksgiving is brighter and better than New York and a Bloomingdale's opened up on Market. You'll give me a reason to shop. Nice to see someone with some panache on these boards.

I've found Texas boards and members much more active, laid back and friendly.  Could be the lifestyle - too busy here in SF to get involved in a board discussion?  Can't type with a Starbucks in one hand and cell phone in the other....

The big difference between this board and others like Phoenix is that there is interaction between providers and hobbyists where here there is none.

Then let's spice it up and see if we can get some of the providers and Gents to start posting some interesting topics, the fact that you replied gives me hope.......thank you victoria

Dear daddy, I believe everyone has something to say including you, what I love about the boards is that we get a chance to get a feel of your personality. I enjoy meeting new friends but prefer a little insight as to who you are and what you are about .Please post your thoughts and views so everyone can havde some fun and maybe learn some interesting facts about SF or just you....Victoria

..and don't forget they are also looking at real estate listings. I'm from Texas too, where people are friendlier and less pretentious.

I'm glad to see you here and trying to help out.  Historically, tho, the problems on this SF board has been that:

1.  The local RB forums keep the bay area population entertained and they tend not to visit these national sites.

and

(2) Postings get queued and the moderators have often been slow to get the messages displayed.  This lag time has sometimes cost me 1-2 days of delay and it has certainly discouraged me in the past few years.

But, if things can improve, that'd be great .....

Who is the moderator here? Do they ever say hello? On most boards they are part of the players and I am sure they would love some feedback from SF posters, maybe we can get them to help us. We could create a more exclusive private board than ssredbook , I have never been there but have heard its kinda wierd. I would like this board to be more personal and helpful and of course some humor always  helps.

You're right about sfredbook - it is a terrible community, full of mean spirited guys, and stifling to any thoughtful discussion.  A more personal group on TER would be a great step forward for the Bay Area.

Hey SF, thanks for the tip. I want to stay away from communities that demean women and such. Its why I cannot listen to today's rap music. This is suppose to be a hobby and in my neighborhood, hobby means fun. Thanks chap.
