I will be in San Francisco on business in a couple of weeks, and would like to pick up some toys. Any recommendations for places to shop? I want a store with a friendly and not pushy staff who will take the time to explain the different selections. Thanks.

Good Vibrations - run by women on 17th & Valencia Streets in the Mission. Not a sleazy porn place - clean, well-lit and untypical. Easiet way is to take BART to the "16th Mission" station and walk 1.5 blocks

If you are staying downtown, the Polk St location is closer. The Mission location can be difficult to get to if you don't have a car or know the city well. Check out the website at goodvibes.com
