To the men. Do many of you still pay three or four thousand for 3/4 hours? Or 1200 for two hours?

I think the most reasonable fee is 250-400. 450-500 should at least get you 100 mins. With all yes's on the list.

Man, my company has been hit a bit, even the guys who get huge pay. I was just thinking and wondering.

Annalise still trying to get 15 for two...I think that is crazy. Anyway, I was checking out the high high price kitties...I don't think they read the papers.

If the "high high price kitties" are getting enough biz at their rates to sustain themselves, why should they lower their rates in this recession?

The company I work for has also been impacted by the economy to the point of having several rounds of layoffs, 20% pay reductions, and mandated 4-day work weeks.  Still, I don't think they've reduced the prices of the software sold or the maintenance fees.

I've never been able to afford the 4-digit kinds of rates you mention above.

but the ladies that I wouldn't see before due to their high rates, are the same ladies that I won't see now. I have a maximum that I will pay, and that hasn't changed. I haven't lowered my standards, and if the ladies in question are doing fine with their rates, then that's what they will charge. There are some ladies out there that I would love to see, but if their rates prevent it, then so be it. I'll just keep seeing the ladies in my price range, and go a little longer between visits.

My comfort zone tops out at @@@@.  I've had great dates @ @@@@@, but the gift was in the back of my mind the whole time, so the dates weren't so great after all, even though the ladies were.

I agree with the gentleman of the South.  People laugh when I tell them I can fly to Dallas, spend an overnight with a lovely lady, and spend less funds than two hours with a San Franciscan.

It's a competitive environment....

I'm like a previous poster when you pay the "VIP" rates the fee is always in the back of your mind hence making the sessoin not as fulfilling no matter how talented the provider is because the ending is always the same.

I'm from DC and we get consistent qulity talent to visit along with the locals at consistent reasonable rates averatging 200 - 400.  Spots like SF and Las Vegas are rife with bait and switch, scammers, etc..

I can have brought east coast providers with me on some of my west coast bus trips and it was still cheaper then contracting with local SF and Las Vegas talent.
