I have seen a lot of posts over the years about providers or clients flaking.  Never seen one on this subject, the difference in responsiveness between Ladies in the North vs South CA.

Now before you think I am a S Cal homer, look at my handle.  I graduated from Berkley and have lived 10 years in the North, 12 in the South and have homes in both places. If anything I may be a N Cal homer and

I find the S Cal girls to be universally MUCH more customer service oriented. I am not talking about the K or J girls but white vs white.

I am 2 of 10 for N Cal girls to EVEN respond to a request to meet, AT ALL even on multiple follow-ups... to just say something!!

Ok so may be it is something about my approach except, the Nor Cal agencies (Elite, Playmate, Kissable, French are 4-4 within hrs of receiving a request and

S Calif is 21-23 within 24 hrs and the other 2 responded after a 2nd request. I have used an agency only once in S Cal.  I use exactly the same approach with everyone and yet 80% of the time NO response at all from N Cal ladies, while 100% response from S Cal ladies and N Cal Agencies.  What the F??

I know the one common comment I always get from providers is how fun and witty I am and they love corresponding.... How can the disparity be that high? All the ladies N & S are equally highly rated yet 100% south and 20% north (except for the agencies). The only independent that was on her game in those years (up North) is now retired.

BTW, I won't divulge names and I am using an alias to protect my innocence (not that I have any!!! LOL

A couple of factors strike me as possibly influencing this:

-- The type of woman you're approaching, and possibly more significant, where you're finding them.  (CL, Eros, TER?)

-- The approach you're using; one needs to come off as sincere, serious, not flaky; reasonable voice mails or emails.  Up 'round here 'bouts, good references are a big deal.  If you don't have (local?) references, you're probably more likely to be ignored.

-- I believe that some of the really popular ladies get SO MANY requests that they just don't have the bandwidth to process all of them; it turns into a bit of a lotto (I've heard this from a couple of ladies ... didn't 'sound' as if they were merely boasting.)

Once in a while, I'll get that non-responsiveness, but more often than not, these days, I find myself with women with whom I've already made some acquaintance, AND I rarely go for someone without a good reputation (i.e. reviews!)

Who knows ... if I found myself in So Cal, in a bit of a different culture, I might be hitting that 2/10 wall of frustration myself until I either:
A) got to know the territory better; and/or
2) acquired a good local reputation

The ladies approached N & S were equally highly rated generally the top in the area.

I have lived longer in the N (grew up here and went to school her and lived here longer as an adult.) then the South and understand it and like it better.

even if they can't see me, the S Cal ladies respond and try to schedule another time.  N Cal just doesn't respond.

And I have never been considered flaky.  I have over 30 reviews and 5 whitelists as well as numerous agency references that are equally available to any of the ladies.

If you are writing to discuss the weather, no matter how witty you are, you will only annoy gals anywhere. It only wastes their time.

as a generalization I have found SoCal girls more responsive, Juliet a big exception. I have met FAR to many flakes in NorCal, and I work hard on the selection.

I use the same approach, fun and respectful specifying a date, time, and location and my references.

100 % reply in S CAL even if.. "I can't do it then, is there another date??"

80% NO REPLY AT ALL.  It isn't technique, it is a difference in client service approach between the providers.

Again, I am glad you aren't having that problem....but shit don't make wild assumptions, relate your own experiences

In fact, I now focus on the Canadians as they come thru, much more responsive and professional

in the bay area doesn't even come close to the number that I've contacted. The ones that I have seen have been terrific. I agree with the OP that response is different here than in other areas. I travel all over, and seldom have any problem with ladies not responding. I always plan ahead, so it's not like I'm looking at the last minute. On average, I contact a lady 3-4 weeks in advance. On every one of my trips to Southern CA, the first lady that I contacted, was the one that I met. The same holds true for nearly every other place that I've travelled.

I wish I wasn't confirming, but I've had the same experience. There are very few responsive ones in N Cal, and those are the ones I have remained attached to as a result! It's exhausting to try to hook up with anyone new here.

Funny enough, my first time in S Cal hobbying I contacted multiple providers thinking only one would respond. They all responded. I was overwhelmed! LOL

Finally, I can confirm that I have much better luck with visiting providers.

There seems to be a common cord.
If you go on the reviewer boards or thru PMs the guys often talk about how unresponsive N Cal providers are with Las Vegas being the next worse.

I had the same experience as the one guy said, the first time I tried S Cal I sent out 8 requests thinking I would get 0-1 response and I got 8, then I looked like a jerk for overbooking.  I was completely caught off guard. Phoenix also has great response.

Someone else also said it, I only book agency ladies or especially the Canadians as they come thru.  They are also very responsive.

You would think that the indies up here would get the message.  They have to have lost business

The only problems I have ever had with S Cal providers are with the ones that travel from N Cal to S Cal.

Man that is just sad.

I am a N Cal home boy and don't want to see just Canadians or S Cal ladies.  Love to stay home..... but can't.

I do hope that others are not discouraged from contacting well-reviewed independent Northern California ladies.
