I'm a long time hobbyist in the Bay Area and am guessing have been involved with this since before many of you were born  For many years I was seeing a provider who is well reviewed and respected in this area.  She is beautiful and very talented.  A couple of years back, she started randomly cancelling on me - sometimes at the very last minute or so.  So I was pretty much fed up with that and stopped seeing her.

Find it interesting that you even exposed yourself in this manner handles and all, mentioning the word professionals, whining about your dilemma and contradicting yourself claiming to be seasoned hobbyist. You have to realize that ladies runs their own businesses and at the end of the day, she has the right to refuse her services to anyone, she can come up with elves, goblins, dragons and magical creatures as an excuse and nothing you can do about it. It's her own business her success and failures is it's up to her...I'm not questioning your abilities at all but looks like your little head has gotten over your big head.. Move own man, there are plenty hot, exotic fish in the ocean that you can choose from and especially here in BA, lucky us gentlemen, looks like the GODS of SEX blessed us and bestowed this place everyone's heaven..Calm down man, you'll be just fine......Chill....

 Well, a couple of weeks ago I contacted her in an attempt to re-start the relationship.  She agreed and seemed to genuinely want to get back together.  We were supposed to meet yesterday at a hotel I set up; then the emails started coming in -- one hour delay, two hour delay and so on.  She suggested we meet at her place this morning which was all set to go. About 30 minutes before I was to leave home, I get an email from her advising that 'mother nature had arrived'.  This bothered me a lot because she had used that excuse in the past close to a half dozen times!  Well, maybe it had and just maybe it hadn't but I just wish these 'professionals' would do better at telling the truth.  Providers generally do a pretty good job of knowing when their 'week off' is about to occur !  
   
 If she doesn't want to see me anymore - fine; but grow a pair and tell me so!  Anyway, enough of that and if any of this type thing happens to anybody else out there, I can certainly empathize with you.

Not whining at all and I don't believe that I contradicted myself either.  Over the years I've been with several other providers and had many fine and long lasting relationships.

Again, relax dude, you still don't get it, NOW you are criticizing my reading skills and  being judgmental. OK, I can tell that you are one of those people that are self centered, everything that goes own with daily lives is always somebody's fault, blaming, complaining, whining, blah, blah, blah. etc, etc.. YOU, YES YOU and YOU my man is the problem YOU are always expecting something, like everyone is bound with your own personal morality.. the let me reminds dude if you still don't know, the whole world is nasty and if you don't know how to navigate your ways you deserve everything happening to you.. So please look at yourself before you start pointing fingers....

WOW - not only your reading skills!  From this last semi-literate response, I think most people can tell you are no rocket scientist.  YOU are the one who is not getting it so I won't be dignifying any more of your retorts and should have thought better about replying to you at all.  Oh and by the way, folks that know me say that I'm the least judgmental personal they know - but with you I'll make an exception.  

Dude..You went public with your RANT and when someone challenges all your whinings, still can't accept somebody's opinion and keeps insisting that everyone has to agree with you... go find a mirror and look at yourself....

I happens a fair amount. We get tired of our atfs, so we choose not to see them for a year, two, or even three. We don't even send them an email stating that we're tired of them. We just stay away, tempted by that new ad we saw. The reverse is also true. Our atfs can get tired of us. They don't generally send us an email stating so. They're just suddenly never available. The message comes through loud and clear not to bother them anymore. While we gentlemen will eventually ask to see an old atf, it's very rare that an old atf, once they've grown tired of us, will ever want to see us again. It happened once to me, but that's it. From what I can gather, her message is loud and clear. Time to move on.

Thanks for that thoughtful response - makes a lot of sense.  Clearly you got what I was trying to get across here (unlike my other 'pal').  What doesn't add up for me, though, is that she got back to me again later today and said she hoped I would change my mind and decide to see her again. If she didn't want to re-start the friendship, why string me along? Anyone's guess, I suppose.  Also, like I said from the start - why agree to see me at all in the first place?

Warning alert, don't be fooled....I knew someone with a questionable handle that went on RANT in public about being stood-up by a lady provider, he use to date, had great connections and hots for her, soliciting inputs but doesn't really need, demanding an answers that he wants to hear, don't want any excuses, wants everybody to lived up with his high moral codes, determined, persistent and a borderline creep. That's a little bit harsh 'oargerela'. Looks like you have a PHD in Behavioral Analyst but reading your OP and exchange of responses, there is slight indication of what you're implying which a lay person like me don't even recognized. The only thing I can tell is this dude is ticked off and telling everyone to grow-up...
