San Francisco

Okay? Just because it's done elsewhere doesn't make it right there either. -e-

Hello sweet lovers!

I was planning a trip to san francisco and was wondering if anyone had a good hotel recommendation for union square?

I was looking for 4 stars and higher and preferably a place that doesn't require a key to get up the elevator... (Silly I know, but sometimes I like to answer the door in lingerie instead of coming to to the lobby to meet)

I have posed this question in the San Fran Section however the local board doesn't seem to be to active per se...

Any Help would be greatly appreciated!

XoXo,
      Eva Bliss :)

I didn't know that.  It's done all the time on the Las Vegas board.

Agreed.  Generally speaking, it's a more open discussion around this topic in most other cities.  Not sure why, but San Francisco has always seemed to be higher on the paranoia/discretion scale than is sometimes necessary or in comparison to other regions.

In any case, there are several threads like this:

where the discussion is relatively open on the part of both the ladies and hobbyists.  There are other similar discussions if one does a search on 'hotel recommendation' and raises the 'days' filter high enough.

this is a good post, particularly the statement about paranoia scale being higher than necessary or in comparison to other regions.  This is San Francisco after all, one of the most liberal cities in the USA. Contrary to what you see on the SF TER board, the hobby is alive and thriving in San Francisco.  As long as you don't look and act like a streetwalker, you should be ok.

I usually don't go to union square area as I am an hour south of SF, but I did visit someone recently at a 3.5 star hotel on market street.
