For the guys:
When checking out websites of various ladies, what kinds of things do you like seeing in the site?  Do you like a lot graphics or not?  Do you like a lot of Flash or not?

For the ladies:
What kinds of things do you want when you buy or build a website?  Do you like one that's similar in layout and flow to other sites out there or do you strive for something completely unique (or as unique as possible)?

As for myself, being the geek that I am I tend to focus on the site layout and the underlying HTML and CSS.

Nice revealing pictures, at least revealing enough that you have a great idea of the physicality of the lady.

I also like to know the rates and some "hints" at services offered.  The generic "GFE" has lost it's meaning.  

I'm after a relationship not the all time flash production or some video award.

If there is one technical no-no it's this:  Don't make the site hard to navigate.  And if you're going to show pictures, make them large and easy to scroll through.

My 4.5 cents worth.

Good pics, not too much text, no music or other sound effects, a logical layout.........

I look for information.

A fast loading site, minimum effects, no music.
A couple of paragraphs that describe the lady's attitude and what kind of experience she offers. Recent, quality photos.
Clear donation information.
Review links.

http://www.amytaylor.net/   nice, but too difficult to obtain the info I seek.  And if I have to "join" a site?  Forget it.

http://www.jessieyumyum.com/   Beautiful site, but too many effects, info too hard to obtain.  Pass.

http://www.asiancourtesan.com/  Nice, some effects, but loaded fast.  Good clear communications, hmm, wish there was review links.

http://tulsajewel2.com/  Even one of these "standard" sites, if they contain all relevant info, works very well.

In terms of design: first, no loud/garish background colors. I'm talking about the colors that, when you look away, you are still seeing those colors! Flash is OK if you have a fast site, otherwise forget it.
Pictures of the provider: they should be clear and well done, by a professional photographer. If you have to blur your face, let at least a little bit show so that the viewer's imagination can at least take a stab at what she looks like.
I like to see a fair amount written about the provider (written by her, of course). Several paragraphs, or even more; enough to gain some insight into personality and intelligence (yes, those things are important to me!).

Although she has a member part, you don't need to join it to get all you need to know about her.

Keep it Simple Stupid (not the provider, but the web developer)

I don't give a rat's ass about all the bells and whistles.  I want to see photos, information, i.e., rates, hours, cities visited, etc. quickly and easily.  Menu at the top or on the side is the best.

I get annoyed waiting for some flash page to load.  I'm not there to be dazzled by some web developer who needs to show his/her skills.  Just provide the basic information about services, rates, screening, etc.  Also no music, nothing could be worse than to clandestinely open a site and then have some sultry music come on.

...I have gained access to my files from my site. I also am enjoying keeping my blog up to date with pics and thoughts every week or so.

I agree with most of your basic points, guys. I hate it when a site has music - especially on the home page!

Ladies, please smile!!! I see so many pictures of ladies going for that sexy look, but instead wind up looking like they're in pain, and maybe they are from all the unnatural posing.

Present me with some nice, sexy, alluring pictures. I don't need to see spread eagle shots. Let's save that for the personal touch. Some shots in sexy lingerie are always nice.

I don't need any flash or music, and I do like an informative "about me" page. It's nice to know a little about a lady's personality, likes and dislikes, especially if we're going to have a dinner date.

Is it common for providers to NOT have access to their website files?

I tend to use Comcast cable modem Internet access and it's blazingly fast.

My web mistress charged each time I wanted to make any changes. It was only $25 for most text changes, but it added up. Now that I changed hosting sites, etc., I'm able to make those changes myself.

Gotcha.  Yeah, that can add up quick if you're making lots of text changes.
