Just got a job where I will be commuting to the bay area on a regular basis.  Was wonder what the LE environment is like ins San Francisco.  Would be doing outcall only.  Seems like a pretty liberal city.

In San Francisco, you should be all right as long as you stick to ladies that work incall or outcall. San Francisco has tried to curb the sex trade from the demand side.

The authorities there arrest hobbyists that solicit street walkers. If caught, these individuals are briefly detained, cited, and given the opportunity to attend a course on the public safety and community hazard implications of prostitution, in lieu of being incarcerated. The intent of the program is to scare these guys straight.

San Jose has a reputation of being very agressive in its pursuit of those who participate in the sex trade. In that community, there seems to be more of a supply side focus.

Other communities in the San Francisco Bay Area vary in their approach to dealing with people involved in the sex trade.

The best thing you can do is know the law, as it relates to what is considered to be prostitution. As long as you never explicitly offer someone money or valuable object in exchange for sexual favors, you should be able to stay out of trouble with the law.
