I know that providers have social media accounts for marketing purposes and I can only assume that some of those providers also have accounts for their personal lives that, hopefully, never cross over to their provider lives.  If you use Instagram I'm sure you've noticed that there are tons of beautiful women that have thousands and some times 100k+ followers.  I have in the past seen people on a UTR list that I have also randomly recognized from Instagram. I admit that its kind of crazy and small 'worldish'.  I was wondering if there was a respectful and not totally awful way of making the connection the other way?  Let me explain, and to be clear I am not generalizing the entire provider population so please don't take offense..  There is an account of someone who definitely doesn't have a 9-5, seems to travel to nice/exotic locations, never shows male companions but it's clear they are there, and is very sexual in her posts.  I realize there are a million other explanations for this persons situation so I guess it's more just wishful thinking! LOL

I assume I just have to wait and see if I ever come across an ad or a review that resembles this person but my hope is there is some secret code that we clients wish we knew.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

what your point is.  Are you looking to find a real relationship through a provider's personal life, knowing she is a working girl, but you still want to be her real-life boyfriend?  If you are just looking for a provider why not just search for her ads?  Or are you looking to out a provider to her friends on her private site?

All the trouble you're going to makes you look a little stalker-ish.  Maybe you should clarify your purpose.

Creeps me out..Using social media an excuse to disguise yourself is NOT gonna cut it dude....Going to all kinds of effort to collect, compare, data, images, post, conversations, suspicions, targeting, researching, investigating someone professional and personal lives and their activities is really, really creepy...

One rule in this world we all play in is..  A mutual respect for someone's privacy...chill

I fully agree with what Oargerela said. I had to block a former client of mine who began trying to establish a relationship with me under false pretenses on a social media account. It DID get creepy! His excuse when found out was that he had wished he had met me outside the business and hoped that if I did take his invitation to meet him that I would understand once he explained! After I blocked him he started following me under other guises until I decided to ignore him. He still follows me online, but the creepy messages stopped some time ago so I can only hope that he has moved on.

Respect for one anothers' personal lives is paramount.

I'm not trying to out anyone or create a relationship out of anything other than a regular provider/client relationship.  In short what I was trying to say is that there is someone who I think may be a provider but wasn't sure if here was an appropriate way to ask.  Sorry for the confusion.

I had a client that was nosy and got my personal info and was able to find my Facebook. My personal Facebook, he sent me a friends request and when I looked at his page his wife, kids, entire family and colleagues were on his page as well. Hell NO. I blocked him and was very freaked out.

Please realize that this industry should be left to just this industry and the paths should never be crossed into their personal lives.

There are reasons why a provider wants to keep their private lives private.  You should respect that.  Contacting someone socially through social media and telling them you know she is a provider and you want to give her your business is rude and overbearing.  I don't think you would ever find one that is okay with that approach, and you might find a restraining order in your future is you bother someone too much.  You don't want you name on a restraining order as having solicited sex for money from someone to the point of annoying them.  Its a public record that your family, employer, etc., can see.  Respect their privacy when they are not working.    Just my opinion, but I think you're barking up the wrong tree on this one.
