You have a very wide variety of locations, from downtown to the beach to north county.  if your clients will be from out of town, downtown or mission valley would probably best location.  Otherwise it's pretty much free wheeling.  Regardless, SD does have it's own special nuances as far as hobbiest but I'm sure you will enjoy yourself.....

Welcome to San Diego, Tara! I lived in a LA beach city many years ago, but prefer San Diego hands down.

I would love to welcome you to our wonderful city. Downtown is excellent for many reasons. Mission Valley is not for you. If you want the beach life style, all are great. Many choices.

You will find that any place you choose will work well ....
San Diego is beautiful everywhere.

let me say the following, I have been to New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Washington for extended periods of time , and with the exception of New York  (they just are always grumpy there) I must say I ahve always been welcomed quite nicely, But Your people are extra extra friendly, and thats amazing, thanks to all of you for your kind words and suggestions.

Of course if you are expecting me to join some "inner path cult"...(very few will get that) I am all out of cult joining at the moment. lol.  But please bring your great smiles with you if we meet.
