Where the hell is Carlsbad?

I'm an East Coaster coming to Carlsbad on business soon and I see that it's between SD and LA. If I'm looking for a provider to come to my hotel is it better to look for SD providers (since it seems a little closer on a map)? And if so, does anyone have any suggestions about where I can start my research?

Looking at Mapquest, Carlsbad is very clearly much closer to SD (35 miles to Downtown SD) than LA (90 miles to Downtown LA).

As far as TER, you can check the area code for C'bad (760) and search on ladies just in that area code.  Or, you can just do it the old fashioned way...find someone you are interested in (in San Diego county, of which Carlsbad is part, or even of Orange County) who does outcall and ask them if they will come to C'bad, and throw in $50 for gas.

Yes, I could restrict my search to that area code. But I'd rather not if I knew how far girls in the area are willing to travel, in general.

Just asking for a little help and a few suggestions. If you don't want to provide them, don't. Others might be a little more generous with their time.

Thank you Lorena.

I am in La Jolla, which is 20 min at most to Carlsbad. Carsbad is considered Coastal North County and is in San Diego County. I am a native and know the city well.

Dude, your post was lazily phrased (hence the statement about the secretary), especially the subject line. "Where the hell is Carlsbad"?  Uh, check a map, genius.

I provided you with plenty of help...and you would be surprised what "others" thought of your post, by the PM's I got.

Anyway, none of that matters.  Like I said, I provided you with help.  Good luck with that, East Coaster.

Upon reflection, I'd prefer if I was able to edit at least the subject line of my post. It WAS lazy. A simple request for help would have been more appropriate.

However, while TER is a valuable tool, the attitude of some of the regulars toward those who don't post according to some set of unwritten rules is annoying in its own special way. That's where my repsonse to your post came from.

I just wanna get laid, Dude.

Well said JM. Sure you're not a Jets fan though, masquerading as a businessman on a west coast trip ?  ( :

DUUUUUDE...stop digging a hole.  It's easy to get laid if you do your homework, if that's all you wanted.  All I said in my original post was that you must have a secretary...because you made a lazy post...then I gave you all the info you would need.  Quit trying to turn it into something it isn't, like there is some sort of "conspiracy" here by the "bad old regulars" (woooooo!). :O  I have been sending out recommendations to visitors on here who have some review history for six years.  Admittedly, I don't make specific recommendations to reviewers who have as few reviews as you do, but when had that few, I didn't ask for recommendations...I did my homework first, primarily for the obvious reason (it starts with the letters LE).  But I was just stunned by your opening line and by "it's between SD and LA"...it seemed like you are used to having someone do the admin details for you, as Mapquest is about as common as Yahoo these days.

Anyway, you have had several ladies reply to you on the board already, so "mission accomplished"...in your own special way. :P

Last thing...you usually can edit your subject lines with no problem.

No more need for back and forth...and may the Chargers kick the Jets asses back to the East Coast.

Neener neener. ;)

FYI
Doing a search in the 760 area code will not give you the complete list of providers that live/work in Carlsbad and other surrounding areas.
I have a 619 area code, yet live in the 760-Carlsbad area.

Happy Hunting!

Don't worry, djm, most posters on here actually want to help and aren't brown nosers on a high horse like this guy. His attitude is long standing and it's unfortunate you had to deal with it. It is tiresome to read to be honest.

Your post was plenty helpful, and most guys (and women like Lorena) on here should know plenty of north county providers in or near Carlsbad. I guess it all depends on how far you're willing to travel, but the big key here is to invest in the VIP membership for $20. That will tell you a great deal. Unfortunately, I don't know many north county providers (near Carlsbad) because I don't venture that way often, but I did empathize with the idiocy that you had to deal with. I hope you have a great time during your stay.
