Do you book in advance, or are you looking usually last minute & need a provider who is available 24/7?

I hobby in the Twin Cities but live a couple of hours away. Therefore since my trips are usually spur of the moment, so are my dates.

I really like to book one or two days out.  However, I just get this "rush" every-so-often that I NEED to find a provider.  I'm a geezer [over 55] and the NEED that takes control of my small head seems to occur ever 40 - 60 days.  For me it is exciting to book a day out as the rush builds in a wonderful way.  This, of course, is really the main reason I have this hobby.

I can't even imagine doing last minute,

I have found that the only way to really assure an appointment with a highly rated provider is to try and book at least a week ahead given the fact that these providers generally have lots of regulars, many limit the number of appointments and reserve some days for no appointments.

it depends on the provider and spontaneity of the situation.

If there is  highly reviewed girl I want to see/have been wanting to see, I'll usually book 3-4 days advance.

If I'm randomly browsing backpage because I'm a little horny and I see a girl on there that has reviews on TER and looks hot, I'll call right then and there, hoping to set something up within the hour

Agreed. Its great to mix it up - like planning overnights/weekends weeks to months in advance, and other times using the right info services to find someone the same evening when the quickie craving builds. Each type of date has its own attractions and dynamic.

...and most of the time, winds up being "wishful" thinking....

I like to do plenty of homework and be well prepared

I tend to do it last minute.  Every day is different, my moods are different, and I am in different parts of town.  Somedays I want a massage, some days FS.  Somedays I want a blonde, somedays a brunette, sometimes a redhead.  Sometimes I feel like a particular look or skin color.  Sometimes I am in the area of a provider that would be great to visit and I call.  Always surprised at the number of times we do manage to hook up.

Sometimes I will plan a couple days in advance.  Now with the ladies asking for more references and checking them out there is more planning ahead.

my life is too busy to be able to just hook up...I need to coordinate and schedule the free time in advance.  Plus, it gives us time to exchange notes about likes/dislikes and make a better session.

I usually try for same day- my schedule is normally pretty fluid and frankly in the past when I have tried to book a few days ahead of time it only works about 1/2 the time- sometimes my fault sometimes hers.
