Try Eve in Encinitas, it's quite good, and I'm not vegan either

Just wondering what some of the best Sea Food Restaurants or Vegan Restaurants are in San Diego?

at the seven-day mark, but you saved it, so I will respond.  Can't help with the Vegan part of your question.  I like the seafood at Eddie V's in La Jolla overlooking the bay.  They do a great job on their seafood, although its not purely seafood, so you have to be okay with the idea that the guy at the next table might be eating a steak rather than tofu in the shape of a chicken leg, which by the way, fools no one.

That's a good restaurant Greek restaurant.

Point Loma Seafood is great for lunch.  Not really sexy or romantic.....just damn good, fresh seafood with tons of variety.  You can even get a beer or glass of wine on the water.

Yelp is usually very well supported in SD proper, and you'll probably get better answers than asking on an almost dead fuckboard...

That said, I second what CDL said, Eddie V's isn't exactly a hipster foodie joint, but it is damn good.

Trulucks in La Jolla Aventine area is excellent with good music as well as grea seafood.

Cafe Gratitude in little italy is an excellent vegan restaurant.
Plumeria in North Park for vegan thai, supergood and inexpensive.
Plant Power in encinitas an elsewhere, a very credible vegan chicken sandwich and other fast food, all vegan.
