Is it safe to take a girl with you to Tijuana to the strip clubs/bordellos? What's the best way to get there? Thanks. LF
Mega dittos (to steal a phrase).
It is quite common to hear you must be crazy. There has never been danger in the area around the clubs Mostly you hear folks saying "they heard", but ask them when they visited Tijuana last. You will find our clubs to be much funner than clubs in the US and less rules as well.
I would recommend taking the freeway 5 or 804 to the last exit and parking in one of the many secured lots. After that just cross the border and ask a taxi to take you to....depending on where you want to go. Although I am not a fan of Hong Kong, it is a combination of a house of ill repute and a strip club. There is 3 floors of action and many many chicas dancing and working the room.
There are other clubs on Revolucion as well, but the Hong Kong will be jumping any night of the week.
Have fun.
Agree. Last week guy pal and I had a great time at Adelitos. Did the frill as expresses above.
Bringing a lady...well, not sure. She would have to be adventuresome and not intimidated by the squalor and tales of kidnapping, etc. True!
But, cabbing directly to Club area and staying there may be fun, There were many So Cal guys, some with gals. A savvy new bud did not give the best reviews of HK of Chi Club. We did bed a very nice chica and will go again..
oh Caesers on La Revolucion is an excellent place to dine if you want to venture out a bit...but caveat emptor
Are you kidding, you go to adelitas in TJ jsofas?!
You couldn't pay me enough to go down there and expose myself to that element, its one thing for guys under 21 years old to go down there, but a seasoned hobbiest going down there, come on. I hope you get all your shots and bath in hydrogen peroxide before you come back to the states, we don't need that stuff spreading back here man. The only Daryl friend I still am in contact with that still goes down there doesn't care about himself and already has his valtrex prescription among others. Chicago club, adeletias, all of them on vente vente... so gross. Your helping drive a very sad situation down there by even going down and spending your money in this way.
My main reason to not ever go to TJ, first, since I've been jumped and mugged down there already before I don't care to repeat that, all the dead bodies in acid and other dismembered and abandoned in the TJ slough or other ditches, (true stories that happen ALL the time from friends who work the border), I really can't think of a single reason I would even consider going down to TJ. I've had friends get abducted and held captive for weeks and drugged and forced to drive a coyote rigged van with illegals hidden in it, only to be caught by the border agents... Its just one trap after another down there, I'd rather go to hell.
South of TJ is different to some extent. If I want some real spice, I'll enjoy it down in Nicaragua or CR, not ever TJ.

well I certainly didnt hear any second hand stories; but I DID see on the 10 o clock news that several clubs in tj where a gunman sprayed the venu with bullets, on more than one occasion.
Never happened, you must be confused.
I think that the time to drive down there, pay to park, take a taxi over, then deal with that hassle, really is not worth saving 50 or so bucks!

I think most go for the prettier chicas and better service. Saving money is probably important to some.
There have been some violent things happen in Tijuana. A poster mentioned bodies dipped in acid and that actually has happened. What the poster did not tell you was that they were cartel vs cartel and the violence was nowhere near the area of tourism. I have lived here 10 years plus and in the days when that stuff happened we certainly wanted it to stop, but it was never random.
Things have been so quiet around here, mostly due to the work of Col Leyzaola. He took the cartel head on and the non sense stopped. Now he just left to Juarez to continue the fight on a much worse front.
I own an escort agency and it would be easy for me to dump on the clubs and tell folks it is only safe to be picked up at the border, have your date and then go back. It would be easy, but it would not be true.
There is a Tijuana forum here and folks can go there to actually here from people that visit often about how it really is.
IF anyone is interested we are hosting a free party on March 12th in El Torito Pub on 3rd and Revolucion. All beer, soda and water are free without obligation. I would ask if you would tip $1 or so to the staff that serve you.
Just how often do you find a young, pretty provider in SD who offers a true GFE session? It's very easy to find in Tijuana--and at at better price. That's what makes the trip worthwhile.
Don't forget TJ sex workers must have a health card and reglamento regularly does surprise inspections to ensure the bar and street girls in the red light district have an up-to-date health card. (Contrary to urban myth they can't pay a bribe to get their health card updated.) Also, don't forget the HIV rate in Mexico is less than half what it is in the US.
The amount of ignorance I see on this board regarding Tijuana's sex industry is amazing. And appalling.
Your wrong on every point you made completely.
Go ahead an believe that their "health cards" make it safe, its only your life your gambling with.
To say SD providers don't offer true GFE is so wrong on so many levels, its not even a apples and oranges comparison your so completely wrong its amazing. Just as I do not buy my medicine from a 99cent store when sick, I also do not put my package in the garbage can because its cheap, you get what you pay for and they don't sell ferrari's or lamborgini's in TJ do they. The very large number of way way to young girls, like 12 years old, offering everything for 20 dollars on vente vente ave right infront of the police station, its so sad the corruption is evil in so many ways down there.
If you see ignorance on this board regarding TJ, maybe you should realize your in the SAN DIEGO forum and not the TJ forum where it sounds like you need to be. The TJ forum is a better place for you to solicit potential sales of false stories of good times at bargain deals.
First of all Burt2020 is not in the business. He is a long time hobbyist that found Tijuana I believe 10 or 12 years ago and now realizes the difference in quality sessions between the two cities.
I am the one that has a hobby related business in Tijuana and I was telling the folks here that it is safe to go to the strip clubs and bars in the Zona Norte and Revolucion. Again if I really had an agenda here, I could lie and say it is dangerous and you should use my service.
I cannot even guess at how many clients have told me that they thought they knew what good service was, but now that they found Tijuana they really know.
As far as the Health cards go, I think it is great that the government makes these girls get checked monthly. Sure a girl could contract a disease the next day and may not find out for another 4 weeks. Of course in the US there are no such laws except in Nevada, and most providers in Nevada work illegally like the providers in San Diego. In addition to the tests, the providers are educated and bring home literature about hygiene and disease prevention. It is really hard to find fault in that.
I went to a bar in the red light district last night with several friends both male and female. Buckets of beer were $15 for 10 beers....Including tips, I spent less than $50 and bought 30 beers. Good luck finding that is the US....and with pretty women all over the bar as well, and a nice band playing US rock and Spanish rock....Beatles, Jim Morrison, Carlos Santana, Pink Floyd, etc....good times.
If you don't want to visit and take advantage of Disneyland South, so be it, but at least check your facts and report accurately.

You can find cheap beer in Pacific Beach. Sounds like the music is not caught up to modern times as well, just like TJ.
For years I’ve lived in Tijuana. Tourists visiting the downtown and red light districts are safe—contrary to what some have posted.
In the ten plus years I’ve a tourist and/or resident there has NEVER been a shooting in a bar (like Hong Kong, Adelitas, etc.) located in Tijuana’s red light district. I challenge anybody who thinks otherwise to name names: which bar, when.
If your afraid to visit a bar in TJ’s downtown and/or TJ’s red light district then you definitely shouldn’t visit a bar in San Diego. A quick Google check shows the following about San Diego bars:
A 37-year-old man was hospitalized Monday with gunshot wounds…The man, who is expected to survive, was thrown out of the Quality Inn bar at 2901 Nimitz Blvd.[San Diego, CA] Sunday night for fighting and the fight continued into a hallway
An 18 year-old Los Angeles gang member was sentenced to 31 years in state prison for the San Diego fatal shooting of a man after an argument took place outside a San Diego bar.
A 25-year-old San Diego man was killed in an early-morning fight outside a bar on Morena Boulevard, a San Diego Police homicide detective said. (Jan 10, 2009)
Two men got into a fight about 10:35 p.m. Saturday in Canes Bar & Grill near the [San Diego] Belmont Park roller coaster …The gunman fired nine rounds, missing one man, but hitting another man who was on the street in the leg,
A 39-year-old woman was shot in the ankle while leaving a private party at a club in North Park early Sunday, according to San Diego police.
I repeat: Nothing similar has happened in bars located in Tijuana’s downtown and red light districts. They’re tourist friendly and safe for tourist to visit.

All the San Diego bars that you mentioned that had shootings are pretty darn divey!!! I wouldn't go to any of those!
I have traveled all thoroughout Baja for years and years. If guys want to spend the time to head down to TJ... so be it. I am not arguing that is not safe.
Just seems better to get exotic women when you are on a international vacation. Headed to TJ is not exactly classy. Let's just be honest.
