I am so sorry that someone took advantage of you like that.
It's cheaters like that guy that makes it more difficult for the rest of us honest folks.
Karma will definitely come around on him..!

On a side note:
I didn't know people still wrote checks for anything other than utility bills.
I was under the impression that only hard currency was the way to go, although some ladies do allow for electronic currencies.

to see you post here after such a long absence, but I'm sorry it took something like this to get you back here.  I've been a customer for twelve years and never met a provider who took checks.  That's a new one on me.  I always assumed cash is the only acceptable form of payment, so I never even inquired about paying with checks.

He admitted a while back to paying with a check. Lol! But it didn’t bounce.
