Has this ever happened to tyou? I save up my pennies (we are all on a budget - some just have bigger ones than others). I do my research: reading back through old reviews; checking threads for signs of things I like; sending out feelers to fellow hobbyists. I take the plunge and nine times out of ten I have a fantastic time. But then, as f out of nowhere an amazing out-of-town provider suddenly posts an exquisitely inviting ad with fantastic picks and stellar reviews to match. The piggy bank has already been raided for the month. I'm simply forced to sit and watch as others more lucky than I snap up the golden opportunity. What's a guy to do?
Gotta have back-up funds for super specials, out of towers suddenly showing up, up grading meetings to doubles for similar reasons or even extending time with an ATF. But I suggest saving an "E-Fund" if possible! (I do it for shoes that just blow my mind! LOL)
...take solace in the fact that there are a dozen(s)...if not hundreds more guys that are in the same situation as you.
My advice is to keep it in San Diego and don't get sucked into that Vegas or elsewhere thing. The out of towners will come back and it seems like they might be doing that a little more of that now....I am not sure.
You will never be 9 out of 10 by being set up by friends, family and co workers, so you have done well. The review process with TER works very well for hobbydudes and providers alike if they know how to use it.
