In addition to jmy68's review of Debbie being taken down, I noticed that there seems to be another review of "Debbie" by SDMIKAL that was just posted. It was pretty much along the same lines as jmy68's, but alas with not as much wit and style.

My presumption is that complaints from the provider caused jmy68's review to be removed. Yet, SDMIKAL's review substantially verified jmy68's findings.

One wonders about the utility of this site given these circumstances.

I read that review, and it didn't strike me as being "mean" or "excessive".  Admittedly, it was not a completely positive review, but it said some positive things, more than I probably would have said if I were in his place, and it sounded like it accurately reflected the guys experience (an experience which I have had in my life, but thankfully, not from any of the ladies on TER).

If what you suggest is true, 2sense, and the review was yanked because the provider complained, yet there was nothing dishonest about the review, then it would be a a majorly wrong thing for TER staff to do.  I can't believe they would do that.  Maybe one of them will post something on here that will explain.

My understanding of the provider "input" policies with TER is as follows:

1) If a legitimate provider requests delisting from TER, staff will pull all reviews and refuse to post any additional ones.

2) If a provider has been classified as a "rip-off", all reviews will remain posted regardless of the provider's requests.

3) If a provider can demonstrate factual "errors" in a review, then TER staff will have an errant review removed.

In the present instance with "Debbie", both SDMIKAL (review in database) and sdguy (posting in SD discussion board) each affirmed that jmy68's review was accurate.

There was nothing mean-spirited in anything that jmy68 wrote, in my opinion. If anything, the provider should study the review and learn why he was so disappointed; she could read other of his reviews to better understand how a provider may become more successful. Furthermore, the provider should take note of the resonant cord that jmy68's review struck in so many other SD-TER members (i.e., we really don't want to be treated as though we're part of an assembly-line for clinical "semen withdrawals"). Finally, the provider can read the TER reviews of successful SD providers to learn their secrets.

That review of jmy's of Debbie was a "classic." It was not mean-spirited in anyway. If anything, it was to the point and appeared honest from his viewpoint and funnier than hell.

Hey, Honey, live is a real bitch & sometimes the truth hurts! Live with it!

Even though the review was factual and appears to be legitimate?

SDMIKAL's review of Debbie is also gone now. I guess they decided to take any and all critical review(s) of Debbie down regardless if it was true or not! Why not just take it all down, including her provider profile?

Hey Jmy and SDMIKAL, thanks for your all too honest & forthright reviews. You guys rock!
