This Q is more for the guys, but if you gals have any info/ideas/input then please respond.

I have been shaving myself and find that using a razor is scary but seems to be the best way to get the close shave that I want.  But it is very difficult to get my balls and the shaft of my dick.  I know, I know, I guess I am pretty hairy since I have hair growing on the shaft to almost halfway up.

The beard trimmer without the attachment works to clear away the heavy brush but it can cut you when using it without any attachment.  I don't know about the chemical/dipilatory avenue, and I haven't tried waxing either.

I've been shaving for several years.  I simply use a razor and have had no more problem than shaving my face.  I'm also curious about other ways of getting rid of the hair (such as dipilatories, because I understand the last longer.  (I usually shave twice a week.)

Laser removal

Use a electric shaver (two-heads) with a beard trimmer.  It is not as smooth as a twin-blade razor, but it won't nick nor cut you.  You can use it everyday and not get skin irritations.  It works for me

I have done this on and off for over 20 years.  It is very difficult to be smooth enough for both your own and moreso, your partner's comfort (nothing harsher than a prickly prick I'm told).  I use a panasonic wet/dry,  and have found that daily really is best but its a it of a chore.  You can find lots of good info at the link below
