.....several posts down. She mentions the possibility of having a profile for members. Now, I know we have joked about this several times in the past. But, I honestly think it would help many members as well as providers have a more enjoyable time together.
The hobbyist usually has a pretty good idea of what the provider will look like if her profile is accurate. This is usually the case with our better known providers. So, what's wrong with the provider, at the very least, getting a good idea of what the hobbyist looks like? I understand that for some, this could be a bad thing. Possibly due to weight or other factors.
Imagine the horror when a provider opens the door and finds a guy that resembles the comic book store owner from "The Simpsons" looking at her. Poor girls. I hate to think of how often this happens.
I know that this would only help with the TER members, but at least it's a start. Look at this way. We hobbyists use this board to find reliable, attractive companionship. It would be nice if the providers had a place to reference like we do. I doubt if any of us would want to submit a link to a Yahoo! profile. But, at least a description similar to the providers would be nice.
Just a thought. If you like the idea, please let TER know. Thanks.  Please don't rake me over the coals for this suggestion.

Would this would be a fantasy profile, of course?

Since I think the idea of a 'client' board is such a bad idea, I'm reposting an earlier reply of mine to Vianca's suggestion. If TER were ever to institute such a board, I would immediately withdraw my support.

"...Besides living out our fantasies, I would imagine that most hobbyists want above all to maintain our privacy. "Client" boards such as you're suggesting breaches that anonymity, potentially exposing the hobbyist to LE and community sanctions.

Yes, a provider might say that it isn't fair. If clients write review which might expose us, don't we have a similar right to review them?

These arguments might make sense, except that clients pay providers professional-level salaries (i.e., per hour rates that match those of excellent attorneys) which include an embedded "risk-premium" for you ladies engaging in these activities. You'll note that where escorts are legal, such as Canada, Australia and Mexico, the rates charged are much lower. In other words, we're paying providers high salaries to act professionally. Not so they can tattle on us, out of school as it were...."

I did not mean to suggest that personal information is put on our profile. I never thought about us being reviewed. Also, it would the hobbyists decision to have a profile. Similar to what TER has with the providers. It would have height, weight, color of hair, ethnicity, etc. No phone numbers or place of employment. If a provider has good reviews and asks that they be removed, they will. It is my understanding that TER only keeps up the rip-offs even whe asked to remove them by the provider.
please try to look at the possible positive side. If a girl can look you up on TER, she may give a discount. It may even kill some of the tedious backround checks. Maybe. Like I said, it was just a thought. I guess I may have been off base here.

Maybe the providers should ask to have a picture e-mailed to them, I have done that several times, works great.....

My 2 cents worth: Its a bad idea. LE already knows about the board. SDPD Has an officer posing as an escort(per ch-10 news segment) The girls who are reviewed are taking a risk, I for one do not wish to take the same risk.

Gumby is dead nuts on. 2Sense makes a least 20 sense. (_8^(|)
Forget about pictures(We comicbook guys need lovin' too), forget about specific personal info(such as address or home phone or I'd bail as well). I don't want my fantasy depictions to be construed in a misleading way nor do I want my character to be depicted as such.
I'm not smart enough to describe how it can be impelmented (yet)and protect the anonymity of the "good fellas", however, the bad apples must be ostrasized from this mostly sincere community. A bad apple is one that enflicts harm (God forbid!) or waits until a full appointment session has concluded and refuses to donate? Right?
The great providers deserve protection from the bad apples. For they are OUR enemy. I encourage the more brainy ones reading this to submit suggestions.
I have heard a few stories of bad apples. Their behavior can not stand. I would never imply that it is TER's responsibility. TER started because of thieving bitches ripping good fellas from the tree. TER has evened the playing field in my fantasy world.
