Ladies and Gentlemen, I have a post waiting to be approved in which the gentleman is asking if anyone has been to either of 2 massage parlors (he gives the locations).  He also refers to his favorite massage parlor, saying how he's had very good luck there and is reluctant to try other places when he's been so happy where he goes now.  My question to you is, in light of the obvious LE concerns, do I go ahead and approve the post or do I delete it?  I'm certainly aware that LE is probably capable of finding these places without having to rely on information from this board, however, I think you can understand my reluctance to put these MPs in the spotlight.  I'd like to hear your opinions.  By the way, the poster has written 2 reviews.

I wrote the post Sedagive is referring to. I dont quite understand what the problem is. This board is full of people asking for information on unreviewed providers. What's the difference in me asking about an MP?
I read a lot on here about LE paranoia and I realize some of the fears are well founded but this seems a bit ridiculous.
Youre right, Sedagive. LE should have no problem finding the MP's in Escondido without our help. I just wanted to save myself some money from disapointing massages and find another good parlor if possible.
Anyway, forget my earlier question. Not a chance in hell of there being any discussion on it now.

You've got to go with your gut instincts on this one. It sounds a bit fishy with the details given. A search of the database should give the person the information that he needs. If he is happy with the MP he frequents, maybe you should let it end there and not wrack your conscience anymore. With MPs, especially in the SD market, it can be hit or miss. Sometimes, you just have to try them yourself and, if you wind up with just a great massage, then that is not such a bad thing afterall.

I think you HAVE to post, unless there are signs this is a phony report.  The whole purpose of TER is to share valid information.  Unfortunately, this can't be accomplished "under LE radar".  To NOT post (due to LE fears) not only defeats the whole purpose of boards such as this, but it let's the bastards win.

Hi Sedagive -- I say do not post, or post with redactions.  No need to identify the particular MPs.  If someone wants to know, he can email the author.  The author should include his private email if he wants to encourage others to contact him.

As you note, it seems that LE has been applying a full-court press on all activities related to this board.

With respect to massage parlors, none of these women are seeking a presence on the Web. Also, massage parlor girls have no real ability to screen their clients, and earlier posts have noted that they are like "sitting-ducks" for law enforcement. Since LE clearly trolls these boards for leads and information, probably we shouldn't make it any easier for them than necessary.

i agree, hard to find a good qulity (A)MP these days.  Sedagive, cuold you PM me some info on these two places.

Is there a MP message board? I know there is a MP review section but no board that I know of. If so, sorry for wasting your guys time on the SD board and stirring things up. Point me in the right direction and I'll be on my way.

As was stated by someone above, these women are not looking for anyone to post so I vote for no post.

do they want that responsibility/risk?  Providers have this right and by extension, so should the MPs.  Don't know if you can ask them, but I'd get their input too.  In an ideal world, I would personally want as much specific service and contact information as possible, but given that such information puts those establishments, those providers, and all patronizing clients at risk of prosecution, it seems prudent to push those with questions to the MP reviews and leave it at that.  As others have also said, sending PMs works as well.  Having a message board specific to message parlors would be great.

As a counter example, on the porn star board there has been discussion of a massage parlor up north where a former porn star is rumored to be working.  Posts about this location and her services have then been discussed on other message boards as well.  Information wants to be free.  In contrast to your post, this is a request for information and discussion of a specific person at a specific establishment, not a fishing expedition. And the massage parlor has an internet presence with photos stating prices, available times, and specials, etc.  They even have their own message board.  If this former porn star wanted to be "underground" or if the MP wanted to be low profile, well, then they should have made other choices and the posters-to-date should have had more discretion.

Bottomline to this ramble, cudos to you Sedagive for asking us!  If an MP isn't represented on TER and if the providers there are working underground, then advise the poster to NOT post here, have them post an MP review, and rely upon the overall MP review polices to minimize risk while getting info out.  After that, if the poster decides to "out" underground providers here on the local board and focus heat on those locations, well,... this is a free country, right?  lol, time will tell.

The question part should certainly be posted.  Heck, I've seen plenty of similar questions, what's different about this?

Now, as to his favorite place.  I'm assuming they don't have a web presence and generally keep a low profile.  I'd suggest editing out the name of the place.  It doesn't effect his point at all.  Maybe you could contact the poster and tell him that if he wants to put their name out he should get their approval first.

If anyone wants an analogy, I'd compare this to a provider who only sees new clients by referral from regulars.  I certainly wouldn't approve a post that outs her.  Unless of course she says it's OK.

Since at least some of the girls at all of the MPs in Escondido have been reviewed at one time or another, LE is well aware of them and the services they offer.  Therefore, it rpobably doesn't make any difference.  I say just use your own best judgement.  That's why you're in the position you are of being able to make those decisions.

You're right, I'd welcome a discussion as to which MP's provide good service without naming names (I know that it can be Hit-or-miss with every location). I also see the point of MP's being low profile, but come on, how many MP's out there with back entrances and locked screen doors aren't providing other services? Even LE is smart enough to figure this one out. the real "work" has to be in busting the escort types. I may be wrong but I dont hear a whole lot about MP's being busted. I dont know why as they would seem easy targets. Payoffs? I dont know....

As far as drawing attention to MP's by posting requests for info, it would  also help escorts considerably if Sedagive would not post requests from hobbyists (and LE!) asking for info on a named, well-reviewed provider.  There's plenty of info on a website and TER reviews without having posts on the DB drawing more attention to a particular escort.

The MPs do NOT want things posted.  LE has already ruined dozens of small independent businesses in La Mesa.  Do you want the rest of the county to follow suit?

Plus, we know that they are ALL legit.

Why do YOU think these so-called "Newbies" post threads asking for SPECIFIC info  on "LEGIT" Providers??  Call me cynical, but I find it HARD to believe that EVERY single week there is YET ANOTHER "NEW GUY" that needs OUR "help" ... Seems LE wants all of US to do THEIR research for them!

And another thing:  Funny how they ALL are savvy enough to have found TER, yet NONE of them are able to navigate the bleepin' site & find the Provider Info themselves.  It's not like you even have to be a PAID Member, either.  All the info you need is right at your fingertips ...

Just search the Provider database according to what qualities YOU find important.  (ie:  hair/eye color, ht, wt, breast size, build, location, donation amt, etc.)  You can even weed-out the "bad" ones by doing a search for Providers who score, say... Only 7's and higher!

That low profile thing sounds like a good idea, whatever was I thinking?, I've been so responsive to so many of these recent messages,?  perhaps it's not the best idea to put yourself out there naked, on frontstreet, afterall? why draw unnessacary attn to yourself/others? I'll contemplate this..... and perhaps even, reconsider and refrain from contributing my input on this board, although, in my own opinion, that would be a damn shame to have to do so, because I adore this board and the people in&on it,....off to do some serious contemplating....re-thinking/evaluating....and...(a favor, if I choose to be low-key, could you guys keep me there also? A favor...I probably wont, the activist in me*stubbornstreak  you know it really bothers me that they can and obviously do get to us, try to bring us down and cant find anything better to do...like go out and catch a real crimminal for instance?  You know..like..do their job? it's ridiculous, the man and woman power (not to mention tax dollars) wasted on these types of things...
I'd rather expend my energy on things that make me feel good...
