I don'y know...But why would you pay someone 50 bucks just to screen you for the chance to see a porvider?  You're giving the provider a lot of money - in some of our cases what we earn in a day or more - to see them for an hour.  Why pay someone else more money just so the provider has to do less 'work'?
Just my thought....

Can anyone give me any information about these agencies that are supposed to screen us?  I would like to be screened, but am worried about what they look up in your background.  Was arrested once for Marijuana possession///do they look into that?  Any information on these agencies?

Thanks

Why I've always avoided doing this -- what if the screening agencies are organized crime, or LE? (subtle difference between the two, I know) Are they going to get enough information to steal your identity, or blackmail you?  I admit, I might be paranoid, but personally, I'd keep it in my pants before I'd tell my deepest secrets to some anonymous agency like this...

Just MHO.......

I have never used one when a gent refers me to one.  I don't trust any entity to really protect me.  The ladies I know do thier own screen, a few don't gather personal info, but go on thier gut feeling.  But most that I know gather mostly employment info.  I won't even go with a reference from another lady unless I personally know her.  I readily give a reference if I can really remember someone, but otherwise for my own safety I try to take responsability and use my instincts along with the information I request.

I would not spend the money if I were you.

I'm actually a member of RoomService2000 which is based in the Midwest.  A number of well-known escorts and a few pornstars use them for screening to save themselves the trouble that they might miss something.  Some use another service called DateCheck.

If anyone is concerned that law enforcememnt will get your information, then I suggest that you need to find a new hobby.  Some escorts ask for a ton of verification information.  And, you have no real guarantee that you know what they will do with it.

Not all services are bad or good.  And, some escorts prefer the relative safety of having a somewhat reliable verification source.  If you don't feel comfortable giving out information, then just don't use one.

That's not good for anyone....

With the ease with which people are stealing privacy information these days, screening agencies don't have any power to check who you are any more than a credit card company does or, for that fact TRW when somebody is passing along bogus information.

No lady with her head screwed on straight would accept a screening agency's word over her own twenty or thirty minutes of recon work plus her gut instinct.  It's just plain lazy and dangerous.

Just my opinion.

You are making some broad generalizations from one specific instance.  But, before I start, I do want to say that I do believe it's a matter of personal choice for both clients and escorts.  Having cleared that up, here is my point.

1. Your friend may have passed false information to RoomService and gotten away with it.  Does this mean that he couldn't have done the same with an escort?  Not necessarily all escorts mind you, but even just a handful.

2. On another point, some escorts do not check references when they are provided.  Some escorts provide references for guys that they might not be 100% sure that they have met.  If you have seen a guy once or twice in a year and don't keep records (as so many are fond of stating), will you remember John Smith?

3. On the plus side for verification services, they do keep track of who has asked to have you verified.  If you are LE or a bad guy, you won't get too many future referrals from the service.  The downside is the lack of privacy.

Like I said before, it's a trade-off and a matter of personal choice.

There's no way in the world you're going to not be the person that you say you are, if you get me to come to your room/place...

Just no way.  Obviously, I'm not going to tell you how I make certain, but I do.  Discretely, without your boss or your family members/friends finding out you and I are going to spend some time together.  No blood draw necessary.

It's actually pretty painless and simple.  And I've found the best dates are the easiest to screen... they understand the idea of mutual trust being a balance.

And I learned the hard way why you NEVER depend on someone else to screen for you.  Especially someone that's motivated by money, or that may have an ugly drug habit they'd do anything to sustain.

catastrophic thinking, or paranoia, and it serves a person that wants to stay safe in what could be unsafe situations quite well.
