With all due respect to her majesty - I feel that this provider has treated me with disrespect and has been a "classic flake."

I would generally toss the description "classic flake" to the VERY young VERY inexperienced and VERY unprofessional providers.

I initiated contact with Jai in December '05 and provided her with all the information she requested. What ensued was a very flaky, spread out correspondence over two months without a date. She NEVER expressed concerns about me - as a matter of fact she wrote me TWICE that she would give me priority in the ensuing weeks. I immediately responded with specific days and times to schedule and she never followed through.

I would contend that Alicia Allure is "my type" as one example of my experiences. I have noticed that Jai posts often on this forum and look forward to continuing this dialogue in a positive manner.

My experiences with Jai were the complete and total opposite.  She was very professional and prompt.  If there ever was a provider that wasn't a "flake", that would be her.  Our time together was always FANTASTIC.  I'm sure she will respond to your post.  Those of us that have been lucky enough to be with Jai, can attest to her beauty and sensuality!! Just my 2 cents.......

I know for a fact that the first part of the year has been pretty trying for J'ai.  She had a tough time dealing with mold at her home, the associated health issues and fighting with her landlord to get it resolved.  She was forced to relocate a couple of times and there were times when she lacked on line access.  We need to keep in mind that while these ladies serve our fantacies, they do have real lives and face the same issues that everyone else does and then some.  Be paitent and you will find that she's is the best.

While I know Jai well enough to know that she can occasionally not be the best communicator in the world, I also know she is not malicious.  Your post, on the other hand...

Aside from the fact that you have never contributed a review to this site (which is your right, but hey, that's why we are here, ya know?), looking at your 16 posts over the past 1000 days reveals that almost all your posts are negative about providers (either they are "flakes" or they are "chunky") or are requests for information from other hobbyists who generally DO write reviews... with the notable exception of one post praising Alicia Allure.  When I saw the one back from 4/04 wondering if Essa was LE (which you personally found out was not true...and which indirectly questioned the validity of a well established poster and reviewer at the time), I had to laugh...it was one of the few times I found myself in agreement with JBIRDCA (who may be my polar opposite politically but is one smart MF, regardless).

After all that time here, dude, and all that information you have garnered from this site and its members, it is hard for me to feel sorry for you when you have given so little back to the site itself.  Maybe "Her Majesty" knows something we don't.

Everything that's good is worth waiting for.  You know?  

I've seen Jai a couple times.  She hasn't flaked on me.  And, I'm a flake magnet, you can't imagine how many providers HAVE flaked on me.  

IMHO - failing to set up an appointment isn't flaking.  Flaking is -- setting up an appointment and not showing up.   Call your doctor later today, leave a message with the answering service that you want "them to call you back and schedule an appointment".  Think they'll call you back?  Are they "flakes"?  

One thing that was right in your post, Jai deserves the title "her majesty".

I again find it no wonder there is no activity on this San Diego Board---The gentleman was expressing what had happened to him with a popular local provider and everyone wants to jump on his ass----what is it that makes everyone in San Diego want to be the Pince Charming that will rescue the Princess-----he stated what happened to him---I am sure Jai has her reasons and will when convenient to respond either privately or publicly-----what is this Board For----the protection of the Providers or for hobbyist to garner information as to who we want to see and what problems we might entail if we decide to book a particular provider!

It is time to allow all to post their story without the smart and nasty remarks that ensue----this Board has been dead for over three years and will never come back to life until everyone is allowed to tell their story without being attacked!

Jai, she has definately been on my radar for some time and I hope to meet her sometime. I try not to be too much of an ass kisser, but, come on, one of the more respected ladies in SD getting called out by a 'hobbyist' with almost no track record? Put it this way, I'm sure there is another side to this story.

if you think that the occasional "white knight" is the cause of this board's inactivity, you are oversimplifying the issue significantly.

You say that the SD board has no activity.  Compare it to a board that you feel does have activity...maybe LV, or LA?  What are the differences?  Do those boards never have "white knight" activity?  Or is it that those boards have more of a community of established posters that create more of an interactive board?  

As I said in my initial post, I acknowledge that Jai has not always been a great communicator.  However, between this guy obviously having an axe to grind against Jai (calling her "your highness"), the fact that there are several regular posting and reviewing members here who have great histories with her, the fact that she is about the ONLY provider in the SD area who bothers to post on this board semi-regularly, and the history of this guys' posts being mostly either negative or information requests without him contributing any reviews or any "community building" posts (i.e., not relative to a specific girl), I thought it was unnecessary for him to be so blatant with his thread, and I basically said so.  Add in the fact that none of the guys who have defended Jai has done so in a way that has really jumped on his ass like used to be done on here (and believe me, it used to get pretty ugly here), and I don't think their remarks are really going to choke off the "comeback" of this board that has evidenced no signs of life as it is.

Lastly, compare the initial thread to a thread a few down by sparker.  There, you have a hobbyist who has a history of reviews and who used to post regularly (and who does still occasionally).  He had a similar experience, one that was actually much worse, but he never named the provider (who is on the same quality level as Jai).  Why?  These threads aren't so much this big helpful thing to hobbyists that "need" to happen to keep providers honest (like anything will EVER do that in this town!) as much as a method of payback, that's why.  That's why I posted what I did.  This board has been down for a long time, and threads like this aren't the solution...and if you aren't part of the solution...well, you know.  As Kali correctly pointed out in sparker's thread, there is n3ver any mention of no shows by the guys.  Why?  Because the women CAN'T say something negative about the guys, unless it is blatantly so, without the fear of losing business.  Until this is a fair forum in that respect, I think that flaking just has to be understood as part of this business (it isn't like you can go to the BBB about a provider), and people should take it less personally and just move on when it happens.  

Oh, and FTR, I was stood up on my FIRST TER appointment by Jessica (for you old timers out there, the NC oral specialist gang chick) back in 1/03.

I am not jumping on you and I did not jump on the gentleman's ass.  I merely provided him information that he may not have been aware of.  I would have preferred to do it privately, but his comments were public.  Consequently, I felt a public response was in order.

I agree to a large degree but there are ways of getting your point across without resorting to insults. If it weren't for that I'd have more sympathy for the original poster. It should be ok to criticise but we don't need the ugly insults or attitude.

Having said that it does seem that its against the ethics of the board to say anything bad about anyone, or else you'd better be wearing your asbestos suit. And if you don't have 100 reviews under your name, better not even say anything good either.

I understand that there is a large amount of 'is this poster real/LE' etc but if we all (a) expressed our thoughts without insult and (b) assumed the best of a poster rather than the worst we might have a happier board.

Ok time to go back to my ivory tower, I suppose.

You seem hung up on my lack of contributions to this forum. I have made an individual CHOICE based on my personal and professional life not to become a member and post reviews.

As to your 1000 day research project I do try to gleam information from this forum as most intelligent individuals would. I am sorry that you are offended that I do not pay my dues to the "club." Again, it is my CHOICE.

I am cognizant and understanding of everything that you mentioned. I have had a half dozen responses from Jai over the past two months leading me to believe an upcoming appt. was just around the corner. Her stating that my patience was winning points with her and other friendly messages led me to continue the pursuit. Believe me if I had felt any indifference or lack of interest from Jai I would have moved on immediately.

My post was not intended to smear Jai - I am simply confused as to the communication issues and difficulties I have had trying to schedule an appointment with a top local provider over a TWO MONTH period.

You are completely missing the POINT. Let's be point specific. I have communicated with Jai over a two month period trying to schedule an appointment. She made comments to me in her emails like, "I appreciate your patience earning points with me" and "you will be priority next week" yet never followed through, week after week. Considering her standing in San Diego I am confused by the lack of follow through, thus the post.

I am cognizant of the fact that flakiness is definitely a part of the business. Particularly with the young providers who operate in the CL ASP realm. That is not my cup of tea and it was of my opinion that Jai, considering her reviews and donation, operated in the more professional and responsible class of providers that I was looking for.

You guys have lost track of all the issues here:
1.  hum'r had a bad communication experience with Ms. Jai.  I for one would like to know about it.  There certainly isn't any other way to get such information on this board.  I know because I had a similar problem -- three "failed to show-up" appointments over 5 weeks with another highly reviewed North County provider.  I tried to post this info as a review and was unapproved.
2.  It's OK to post a "low rating" review on a provider even if she's had other "hi rating" reviews -- yet I don't see the "white knights" dilligently commenting on those reviews here.  Inconsistent?
3.  I for one would incorporate no show data in my consideration of a provider, just as I do low rating information.  Everyone is late to work sometime or has a sick day -- it's understandable.  BUT, I fire people who do it week after week with no explanation.
4.  As impressed as I am with Ms. Kali (yet I've never visited her) she misses the point when saying (and I paraphrase)"why is it OK for clients to no show, but not OK for providers?"  Sweetheart, it's certainly OK with me if you no-show on a previous appointment that no-show'd on you  -- but don't announce that you might do it to me or others because some a**h*le did it to you.  In my case I always show and show on time, or I call plenty ahead to announce a problem.  I treat the ladies I see with respect and expect the same in return.  Don't teat me disrespectfully because someone did so with you.  No matter how ironic it may seem to mention here -- do remember the Golden Rule!

1.  I got your POINT.  As I said, Jai is sometimes not the best communicator in the world, so I can understand your frustration.  

MY point is that you must not be familiar with San Diego if you think that price, reviews or ANYTHING should GUARANTEE a professional response.  Yes, there are some that do this regularly, and I am sure Jai has done this at times as well, but in case you haven't noticed, for the most part, the SD market kinda sucks, so if you think that you were "helping your fellow hobbyists", you are kidding yourself.  There aren't enough good other choices to really "professionalize" the market.  SD is a suppliers market.

4.  I was responding to Poker Gent's post.  However, along those lines, your thread will accomplish very little.  It probably won't hurt Jai's business at all, and you obviously will never see her at this point. I can't speak for her, but if you fuck up in SD, the word often can get around to other providers and you can be blacklisted.  I know this from personal experience.

Regarding what you said in your other response to me, yes it is your right to not VIP or review or post "socially" on the board.  It doesn't mean I have to respect it, though.  It makes you a "taker".

Anyway...my bottom line here is let it go and move on to someone who is more eager to see you.  As long as you have been in this arena, you should know that when you start getting the runaround from someone, whether intentional or not, it is time to cut bait.

I live & play in NorCal which has lots of,and probably more provider activity than SD.  However, the DB here is much more lively and displays a broader sense of community than the SF DB.  I love the give & take displayed in this thread and others.

No, a hobbyist on a free, open forum does not need to have a track record in order to voice a concern or opinion, and you've certainly stated yours. It only helps lend credence to your argument.

As a hobbyist, I am a little concerned with your situation, because as I stated, I have kept my eye on Jai for some time and would like to evntually meet her. I have not heard any other story like yours in regard to Jai. I hope she does respond in this thread, but, it would not surprise me at all if she atayed above the fray.

As a member of this community, I was put off a little by your negative tone. 'Her Majesty' is a little much, don't you think? This board, as a whole, would be a whole lot more fun and entertaning with more participation from the ladies of SD. Jai is one the few who consistently post opinions and thoughts from the providers side, and I hope she continues to do so. I don't think your concerns are without merit at all, I just think it could have been approached in a different manner.
