So you fell hard for a provider. Bought her a new car, big diamond ring, paid for her college educations. Paid her to see you exclusively and helped her take care of her little girl. You learn to deal with all her rules and gave her spaces. A couple years and 150 grands later, you decided you've had enough and tried to move on. She tried to manipulate for more money. Later you learned that she was still providing the whole time and has a boyfriend. She then called your wife, cops and your company with nasty lies charging of abuse. If that weren't enough, she slapped you with a restraining order by telling the court with more nasty lies with the help of another slimy lawyer hobbyist. Even you've proves against all her allegations, the judge still erred on her side and publicly labled you as an abuser. Your wife divorced you and you were forced to quit your job. After the restraining order had expired she tried to start something again with you and when you told her to get lost, she slapped you with another restraining order. The judge really POed with you this time and gave you the max. All you ever wanted was a "closure" and moved on with your life.

A relationship initiated by cash will end with you paying lots of it. Either a marriage or this poor sap. Try to live within your means and find someone that cares about YOU, not your wallet. All providers are after is money. The fact that some of them love sex is just a bonus for them.

We all hope and wish for happines and true romance. Sometimes we find it and sometimes we only find compaionship. Don't give up you never know when you will find true happiness. Take it from someone who found it.

My prayers are with you Foolishheart. I have a similar story myself although I didn't lose as much and go through as my pain and suffering. I agree it would be nice to know who the provider is but I understand the rules.

Unfortunately for me this one doesn't even like sex. She only saw me 2 or 3 times a month at her convenience.

She used to tell me she's seeing me not because of my money. Yet, she would asked me to buy her a house or give her a million dollar trust fund so I wouldn't have to pay her every month.

I've tried stop seeing her early on. But, one time she told me she was pregnant to get me to stay. Found out later that it was all a lie. Another time she wanted ten thousand of dollars. She even extorted money from me during the first restraining order. I've never physically or verbally threatened her at any time.

As I go through my day to day, I am reminded that men go through the heartbreak as well. I am sorry for the pain that you have suffered but do hope you continue on your quest for unconditional love. I do believe that there are many waiting for the love and friendship that is discovered through unconditional love alone. Not all of us are looking for an ATM.

I do hope that you will take this experience and grow from it. I do believe that any and all pain which is experienced in a relationship is used to groom us for that someone special that has yet to come into our lives.

You had a billion times to walk away. So lick your wounds and move on. Gessh.....should have been more worries about your kids.

It's been a two way game street for years.. this doesn't even belong on the board...it's not even the whole truth.

I'm sure you would be grouchy if you spend that kind of money on a person in 2 years.
