a little far in advance but is anyone planning on attending opening day at the races?  i haven't missed one in years.  yes it's too damn crowded but still a load of fun.  any providers interested in turf club?

I think it is an 8 race card followed by a concert on the backside of the main grandstand. Have gone 5 times over the last few years and have seen Blues Traveler, The Violent Femmes, Donovan Frankenreiter and others. Great shows. Horse racing used to be all about low life gamblers and cigarette smoke. Not anymore, get to Del Mar on one of those Fridays and you will be amazed by the talent there, definately the place to be.

Pick ME!  LOVE the Del Mar Races.  I would plan a trip out just for that!
