Why are so many of them registered in La Mesa?
Just wondering

Many of the agencies listed in the Yellow pages or online really are the same or have common phone listings.

La Mesa, I think is it's own city, thus not covered by City of San Diego ordaninces. With call forwarding the phones can ring anywhere.

The other town that has a concentration of telephone girls seems to be Escondido. They are also an incorporated city, and while I'm not a lawyer, I think they have their own laws that make it easier, and possibly don't require the agency to be registered, just the escorts or massage pros.

Maybe one of our legal types who has a handle on civics can help clarify..I may not be 100 percent accurate, but it's what I think.
